Excelsior Sunday Streets

Inspired by Bogotá Colombia’s weekly Ciclovía, which began in 1974, Sunday Streets reclaims car-congested streets for community health, creating temporary open space and recreational opportunities in neighborhoods most lacking while encouraging physical activity, community-building and a reconsideration of public space. As a resident of San Francisco's Excelsior district for the past 10 years, I’m excited to join local nonprofits and small businesses with my herbalist hat on for this fun day celebrating health and community at Excelsior Sunday Streets!

I’ll have calendula salve, the incredible heal-all for hardworking hands, lavender hydrosol, hand-stitched lavender hearts, Flower Power tonic tea, lemon balm plant starts for your garden and medicinal floral arrangements to eat, use and enjoy!
